Winter Boots

A hard winter makes its own demands. These boots hold the warmth and keep the slush out, without making the step stiff — the sole is still flexible enough for the foot to work naturally.

Tip: leave about 12 mm (0.5 in) of growing room in a winter boot so there's still a layer of air even with a thick sock. A tight boot is a cold boot.
